Colorado Springs Startup Week is a week-long celebration of innovation, entrepreneurialism, and the creative spaces and places that make up the Colorado Springs startup ecosystem.

Startup Week is a collective demonstration of Colorado Springs’ COMMITMENT to ENTREPRENEURIALISM, INCLUSIVITY, and STARTUP SUPPORT to all participants that experience the week.

Everyone who participates will LEARN something that BENEFITS their business or them personally. Participants will have the opportunity to CONNECT with others, and participate in SHOWCASING OUR COMMUNITY as an emerging startup market not to be ignored.

Gloria Winters

Chief Medical Officer

Gloria Winters is the Chief Medical Officer of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and has over 19 years of healthcare experience. As the Association’s Chief Medical Officer, Winters supports the innovation of the YMCA in communities around the country as they improve the continuum of healthcare by linking the clinic to community to affect the health of the whole person. 

In this role at the YMCA, she is responsible for the development, advancement and implementation of industry-leading models that will standardize how communities can receive health interventions to improve people’s health outcomes, with an emphasis on connecting individuals to community and social services through local and national strategic partnerships.  

The YMCA is the nation’s largest nonprofit health and fitness organization, reaching 80% of communities within the United States, and as such has the opportunity to address social determinants of health through programs, partnerships, people and technology. 

Winters received her doctorate of physical therapy from University of Southern California. She is certified in manual therapy, orthopedics, dry needling, sports medicine and nutrition.
